Halloween was so much fun this year! As many of you know...Max is OBSESSED with Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. So as you can imagine, Max got pretty into the part this year! He was in heaven! He had to wear it for 3 straight days! Gloves and all! Now we are just counting down the days for his Mickey Mouse birthday party! That is all we talk about around here!

Wow! It's been a long time! I have decided to start blogging again...and I am going to come back with a BANG..... Many of you already know but we are having another BOY! We are beyond thrilled! Max is going to be the best big brother. We will be welcoming this little boy with open arms the end of January. It's been a bumpy road, full of many unknowns but we are thrilled that he is healthy! Stay tuned for some updated pics of what we have been up to....

I can't believe my little baby is two! Wow, it has gone by fast! He is such a little ham at this age. There are three things we hear about all day. First one is yellow buses, second, Elmo, and third, the Utes! We had a Elmo party for him and he could not have been any cuter. He was just eating it up!

My greatest friend gave Max his cute present in this sack! As you can imagine, he loves his "Yellow Bus Sack!"

His cute Aunt "Saysa" and Graham and Chris gave him this adorable Sesame Street Blanket. This is his face as we pulled it out to show him! Pure excitement!

When we sang Happy Birthday he was so excited! He couldn't believe it was actually for him! This was his face the entire time. As soon as we were done the first thing he said was "More?"

Max is such a Ham. He is so animated and so fun to be around. He is my little buddy and I can't imagine my life without him. We love you Max. Happy Birthday!

Wow! I can't believe it's already the middle of October. We are loving this weather. Max is growing up way too fast! His brain is like a spounge right now. He picks up on everything! We currently just got finished learning his colors. He sucessfully knows purple, blue, green, yellow, utes(red), gray, and black.

This last weekend, my little sister was nice enough to take Max for the weekend so Dan and I could enjoy a weekend in Vegas to cheer on the Utes. We had so much fun with our family. These are some pictures that my sister took while she had him.

We just got back from Bear Lake.....Boy, did we have fun! Jackson and Max are best buddies! Here they are getting ready to go to the beach. Dan took both of them back in the bathroom and came out with their hair looking like this!

Myron Brewer,

Our friend and brother

Gently slipped into the eternal worlds late Wednesday evening... Myron was raised @ incredible pets where he enjoyed the company of many of his friends and relatives, until one lucky day when he was brought to his current home and eventual resting place. Myron truly is a "Fighter Fish," He recently went through a horrific accident causing him to exit his bowl and suffer serious injuries... We thought Myron had made a full recovery but he obviously suffered too much injury from the fall.

Myron-Thank You... Thanks for teaching Max what sound a fish makes, thanks for providing Max with countless hours of amusement. Tell we meet again MY MY MY Myron...

(This was an email Dan sent to me today.... That is how he broke the news to me....Sometimes he kills me!)

A BaG oF NeW TrIcKs...

The past few weeks, Max has a whole new bag of tricks! This is such a fun age!

This is what Max does when we tell him to smile... Only it is a lot cheasier! This was taken at the tail end...

Max loves to go through all the cupboards..... Fortunately he does not pull things out yet!

Our favorite new thing is we say to Max "Bad Cough" he does this fake cough. We were babysitting baby Graham last week and he was coughing so I said, "Wow Graham, that is a bad cough!" and I hear Max in the other room just coughing! I guess you could say he is not ready for another sibling as he is begging for attention in a whole other room!

Today was the first time we have been able to take Max to a Utah game that fit with his nap schedule. Here is what the day looked like getting ready for the big game...

And got dressed in his Utah get up...

Let's just say the day was a hit! He LOVED the game. Lights, the Utah fight song, lots of people, and Dippin' Dots. What is not to love? (when Max gets upset, many times the only thing that makes him happy is playing the Utah fight song, through Dan's blackberry... so hearing the band play it live was an out of body experience for a 14 month old!) He was dancing the entire game! It was a total success!

We had the annual "Eggnog Knocker" the day after Christmas this year! It was so much fun to be with everybody! This year, we had it at Brady's house downtown and it was PERFECT! Becca made all the food and it was delish! She is an amazing cook! We love this tradition and look forward to it every year!

We have had such a fun Christmas. Having Max makes it so much more fun! Even though he was not interested in any of his presents. A week ago we had the annual Clark family Christmas Party. We ate dinner and did the Nativity Scene. Max was demoted to being a cow and Graham was the 17 pounds baby Jesus.

Christmas Eve we spend time with the Oldroyd family. We ate a lovely dinner and also did the Nativity Scene there. Max was baby Jesus and Taryn was Mary. Baby Jesus was born then got up and walked away!

Then, Santa came over for a visit. Max was NOT a fan! We all took our turns to tell him what we wanted.

Later, Max opened his Christmas PJ's.

The next day when it was snowing so hard, he just loved looking outside the window any chance he got!

On Saturday my niece got baptized. I didn't take any pictures but it was a special day! We are having so much fun with all the family in town and celebrating the birth of our Savior. Hope everyone had a great Christmas!

Well, my baby turned one! I can't believe it! That was the fastest year ever! This year, his birthday was on "Black Friday" so it was crazy! We tried to have his party at the park, however, when we got there it turned very windy and cold! Luckily, my uncle had the keys to the church! Never thought my son's first birthday party would be in the Primary Room! Max picked the theme to his birthday party! Of course he picked the Utes to be the focus! He had to take the opportunity being that almost everyone in our extended families our BYU fans. He had a Utah cake and Utah cookies. Here was the quote of the night... One of Dan's little cousins is an avid BYU fan. He turns to his grandpa and says, "Grandpa....I'm going to eat this cookie because it looks really good, but I have to warn you.... It just might kill me!

Happy Birthday Max! We love you so much! You are such a joy to have in our family! It was such a struggle to get you into our lives, however, now we cannot imagine life without you!

Bubby went to the chop shop yesterday! It was his first haircut! He did so well! We were so proud of him! He LOVED sitting in the fire engine and turning the wheel! We kept him occupied with Dads phone and car keys. His fashionable mullet has now turned in to a stylish bob! Comparable to the Lloyd Christmas "BOWL" cut. Regardless of how high his new hairline is....we still think he looks so cute!

This last week Dan and I went on a relaxing vacation to the Dominican Republic! It was a incentive trip for Dan's work! It was amazing! We had so much fun being together! We laid by the pool, the beach, drank way too many pina coladas, and got massages! It was so relaxing at the resort we stayed at was absolutely incredible! If it weren't for Max we would have never wanted to come home!

Last weekend we went to St. George with my family to visit my sister and her family! It rained the whole time but we had so much fun anyway! Max loved going on the scooter with my mom! I know he doesn't look happy in this picture....but he really was!:)

Well...we went to the physical therapist for Max's foot and there could be many reason as to why he won't put his heel down! However, the worst part is that the doctor ordered to get him out of his jumper IMMEDIATELY! She said that is only reinforcing him to be on his toes! I was secretly excited to get rid of that monstrous toy! However, it is nice because even though he is growing out of it, it at least buys me fifteen minutes of time to get something done! However, if you know me...i HATE clutter! So it feels good to have the family room back to normal!

Better yet...Since we took his favorite toy away (poor thing), he has started standing on his own! Yay!

And... With a little (lots) of help from mom and dad, he can stand on his heels! We are so happy how well he is doing! (So is he... You should see his face when get stand against the couch! So cute!)

ToO FaT for Wii FiT...

My parents bought us the wii fit this weekend, and I have never laughed so hard! Dan was the hula hoop champion! It really is a real work out! Mario Kart and Guitaro Hero take a lot less stamina to pass levels!

When we did out body tests, we both have the posture of people in their mid 40's! YIKES! We are fully committed to stamp in every day. We are also focused on having our posture, balance, and for Dan, having his BMI reflecting a 27 year old and not a 47 year old! This picture of Dan is for pure entertainment only!

Max has been so sick this weekend! I have to say it is really the first time he has been this sick! All he has had is a little cold! The poor thing has the worst yeast infection, throwing up, no voice, and a runny nose! Even though he is feeling like crap.... he still has time to smile for the camera! I just love this boy!

One of Max's hobbies is to feed the ducks! We decided to take him today to distract him and help him feel better! Per usual, he couldn't get enough of it! He has been on a strict diet these last few days because of his tummy aches, so he got a little jealous of the bread! So... we gave in and let him join in the fun!!!

Max finally has a new cousin! We are so excited! Sara and Chris are the new proud parents of this perfect child! He was born September 10, at 3:01! I left the hospital at 2:00 and she was only a 41/2 or 5! Then one hour later...out came Graham! Mom and baby are both doing so well! We are so happy to welcome him into our family! Max is especially excited to have a new best friend!

Last night, I was so worked up about Nastia Liukin not getting the gold with the whole tie breaking thing, that it took me so long to fall asleep! HELP! This is what we have been up to lately... A whole lot of nothing! We have just been enjoying our summer by swimming in the pool at Grandma Dru's house, enjoying some Creamies, playing with all our cousins who came in town, swimming in the Skeen's pool, and living in the jumper! He just can't get enough of it!

While I was in Vegas, Max's aunt Sara watched him and took him to play with his friend Lucy! She had a little pool that he just loved! He started to cry when Sara took him out! So.... being such a thoughtful aunt.. Sara went out and bought Max his own $3.97 pool! He LOVES it!!! Thanks Auntie Sara!!!

So last week I went to Vegas with my mom and sister! We had a blast! I have to say it was so hard leaving Max! The morning I left, I felt like I was going to throw up! When I got in my car to leave that morning Dan had written the cutest letter reassuring me that everything was going to be fine! Knowing that Max would be with Dan and my in-laws the whole time made it a whole lot easier!

On the way to Vegas we had to stop and pick up my sis in St. George. My mom and I can never go to St. George without going to Golden Spoon! Even if it is a major detour!

We got there at on Tuesday night at 6:00! We decided to go straight to Ceasar's Palace to scope out the View situation! As we were walking around the casino, Barbara Walters and Whoopi walked by! Me and my sister followed them and took millions of pictures! My mom was so embarrassed! She acted like she didn't know us! So when we were done with that my sister was calling everybody! She was so "Star Struck!" As she was on the phone, I saw Elisabeth! I told my sister to get off her phone because there is Elisabeth! She is my sisters favorite! We couldn't really get a good pic of her! She didn't have a body guard like Whoopi and Barbara! It was hard to even know it was her! She was very little! They were all meeting for dinner together!

We ended up going to bed at 1:30 in the morning! Without any kids, my sister was CRAZY! Jumping on the bed, screaming! Just crazy! My mom and I would be falling asleep and she would say "I can' sleep, I am just so star struck!"

We had to wake up at 4:30 a.m. to be there at 6:00a.m.! We barely got in! We were the last 6 people! They over book the show by 200! We were so nervous! We had a ball!

Every day from 8-9 a.m. I have such a struggle keeping Max awake and happy! He goes down for his morning nap at 9:30 and that hour is so hard!! Well, today I think I found the trick! I found something that keeps his mind off the sleeping! It's was kind of expensive but I don't care! It is so worth it! You ready?... TAGS!!! on my pillows! LOVES THEM! Today that kept him occupied for an hour! Thank you pillows for making my son incredibly happy!

I just thought that I would post some recent pics of our Baby Boy max! He is the love of our lives! He is so much fun! He recently started eating vegetables. The only one we have had success with is sweet potatoes. All the other vegetables he tries to make himself gag! It is the funniest thing!

When I was little, my mom said that people would stop her and tell her that I looked just like the gerber baby! Well, the other day when I was picking up some "Gerber Vegetables" for the first time for Max, I was looking at the picture and I was shocked how much Max looked like the Gerber Baby!
